Tutoring and Mentoring - Helping kids succeed and letting them know the community cares about them. Kiwanis members currently help at Jessie Mae Elementary, Supply Elementary, and Waccamaw school.
Kiwanis collects needed supplies to provide to kids as they head back to school in the Fall.
Kiwanis collect new and used books for children. These books are put into Red Wagons and placed in businesses and professional offices across southern Brunswick County for children to read and take home a special book while they are waiting with their parents.
Aktion club is the only community-service club for adults living with disabilities. Aktion Club allows members to develop initiative and leadership skills in serving their communities while enabling their integration into society.
Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. Students work with their classroom teacher to establish goals to improve their behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or schoolwork.

The Shallotte and South Brunswick Islands Kiwanis sponsors a Field of Honor at Mulberry Park in Shallotte. This event intended to honor American heroes displays hundreds of flags. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story. Flags are sponsored for Active Military, Fallen Servicemen and Servicewomen, Veterans, First Responders, Police, Fire, EMS, and Frontline Healthcare Workers.
